Nothing that is goes against nature, because nature is the way things are…. Nature encompasses all contradictions.
— from “This Nature” essay, Pattiann Rogers

In my everyday waking moments while out running or walking, I become curious. I wonder why a biloba tree has not dropped its golden leaves or I stand still before a morning beach horizon as gulls fly low. I take a photo or short video to revisit later.

This notice of nature fascinates and holds me captive. It compels me to write poetry. To be present in a brief story of the natural world and respond to it consciously and with love. Yes, it is that sense of awe, the wonder of our earth and beyond earth.

I invite you into my poetry and photos. They provide for me delight, renewal, and tenderness for the impermanence of all life. I hope you find enjoyment here, and in all nature and poetry.
